The Free Methodist District Meeting to-day continued its sitting. The prospective grants to the dependent circuits were decided upon, after which the list of stations were read a third time and confirmed as follows : — Addington, Joseph White ; Auckland, Robt. The Merchant Seamen's *Anglican Mission is not proving a success. Yesterday the Etv. B. T. Dudley attended to conduct divine service, but after waiting some time and no congregation appearing he left for St. Sepulchres.

The first aunusil session has been held of the Grand Lodge of Loyal United Friends, and a valuable iea and coffee service was given to the retiring R.W.G.M., Bro. James Cox.

Macdonald, agent for ,T. C. Williamson and Gilbert and Sulliran, has succseded in obtaining a recognition of his right in H.M. Pinafore, aad the payment of author's fees by the Riccardi Company.
