Lodge Sir Walter Scott.

The annual installation of the officers of the above lodge was held last night in he lodge room.

The Jfct.W.M., Bro. McCuliough occupied the chair, and on the dais were, Past Masters Wildtnan, (Installing Officer), Murray, Climo, Bawden and Davies.

The following members were installed in the respective offices:—li.W.M., Bro. J. M. McLaren; It.W.P.M., Bro. W. McCullough ; D.M., Bro.Dunlop ; S.M , Bro. Thos. Kawden; S.W., Bro. Emerson; J.W., Bro. J. Forgie ; Treasurer, Bro. J. H. Smith; Secretary, Bro. K. Burra; S. Deacon, Bro. J. Murray; J. Deacon, Bro. Angove; I Guard, Bro. J. Comes; Tyler, Bro. T. Hawdon ; Chaplain, Bro. S. J. Neill; Bible Bearers, Bros. Campbell and P. Jobnstone; Architect, Bro. K. Coombes; Jeweller, Bro. G. Price ; Stewards, Bros. Geo. Symington, James Thomas, C. Weston, J. Jamieson.

Votes of thanks were accorded to Past Master Wildman and the choir, after which the Lodge was closed according to ancient custom. The brethren and visitors, at the invitation of the Master, repaired to the Governor Bowen Hotel were a banquet was prepared for them. A most eujoyable evening was spent, and the usual ioyal and Masonic toasts were given and responded to, the party breaking up in the " wee abort hours ayont the twal."
