Siß,-~Will you kindly insert this reply to .a paragraph appearing in the Thames Advertiser of to-day's date re clerical ewor in the notice calling a meeting of Mr Wilson's friends and supporters, viz., iy inserting " Wilkinson "for " Wilson." ftfchink with all due courtesy when the 'document-was handed to Mr Wilkinson, by Mr Wilson, and there and then read over by him, ifc ought certainly to hare been corrected. With regard to my being Mr Wilson's paid canvasser, not a word of payment has ever passed, but I am simply supporting Mr Wilaon, and, with very'many other burgesses, consider him the best person to represent the South Ward.—l am, &c, W.
