The mine hands reramed work' this morning, after the holidays, and the battery wu to commence crashing operations this evening. It has been receiving a overhaul during the past day or two. QUEEN OFBEAQTY. : The preparation for . resumption: of operations in this mine an getting on apace. The shaft has been enlarged for the purpose of enabling it to fill' the double capacity of a- piunping and 'winding shaft. Mr Oinn and his staff ef bricklayers hare completed the brick . work of the pit for the balanee-bob,and this morning a start was made at erecting the- foundation for the pump* ing machinery. It will be a, large block of brick and concrete. This pump* ing machinery will be finished by the time the bricklayers are ready; . A considers* ble portion of the old Fiako machinery will be used, including the lifts. goldStuens. Goldbn Cbowh.—Cameron.and party hare banked, another parcel of gold amounting to 15ozs 6dwts gold. .
