Attempt to Stosm Shirpur Repulsed. An attempt waa made by the Afghan tribes to storm General Roberts' position at Shirpur. The General was. forewarned, and Balahissar was occupied, and the gunpowder was soon remored. The General successfully repulsed the assault, and pursued the enemy who were - i completely dispersed. The leader has fled. December 27. Fanatics Sacking Candahar. Fanatics aro sacking Candahar. Titey attacked and wounded. Tytl*vand other officers. J»V
