SALE OF BIG PUMP PROPERTY.

Mr Carpenter offered, this morning, the Big Pump, with all its engines, boilers, ropes, &c, at public auction. There was a good attendance, and the bidding was started at £800, rising rapidly by bids of £20, till the amount of £1300 was reached, when it .was knocked down to Mr Comer, of the Moanatairi mine.
