Sir,—Mr Gr. N. JBrassey has taken on himself, the onus of calling the Hauraki Engineers together-to-night, or, as your contemporary orer the way puts it, " to explain the conduct of Captain Small and, Lieut Den by." I was not aware that a prirate citizen bad the power of calling troops together, and doubt much whether the laws of the realm will support him in his action. No one can be justified in conduct calculated to instigate sedition, A. Loyal Subject.
