For Holiday Excursions.

It is notified in the Gazette that single tickets from any statien to any other station will be issued o» all New Zealand Government railways between 20th Dec. and 3rd Jan., and such will be available for return any day up to Saturday, inclusive of Monday, sth January.

• The following Telegraph Stations are to be kept open till midnight for the press and public five days in the week :—Auckland, Grahamstown, Napier, Wellington, Christchurch, Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin, on Saturdays till 10 o'clock, the Sunday hours to remain «s at present. Upon the arrival of the Australian steamer at the Bluff, that office to be kept open as above.
