Mr Hanna, President of the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, Mr Mason, of Glasgow, and Mr Clarke, the well-known thread manufacturer, arrived by the Rotorna, making the tour of the Colonies.
Eewi is said to be so ill that he is not likely to recover.
Mr Buckland reports:—Steers 26s to 28s per hundred pounds; cows lower, many .not bringing more than 22s per hundred pounds; fat sheep plentiful, prices low; wethers! lls to 14s; ewes, 6s to Bs, about twopence per pound.
