Organ Recital.

Afc St. Gcorgo's Church last evening, another of those popular Organ ltecitals was given, the audience being fairly numerous, but not to the extent to bo desired. Mr Trewheela of course officiated at the organ, and gave three selections, two marches and one air with variations, in iplendid style, showing bow thoroughly he is a master of (he instrument; in fact, to our mind, MrTrewhella's performances

the evening. Mr Airey sang the beautiful " Comfort Ye," and the Choir, " And the Glory," both from the Messiah, in good stylej Miss Probert followed with "But tho Lord is Mindful "—a beauiiful piece, rendered so popular at these recitals by Mrs Siannier—in an excellent manner; Mr Catran's "Lord God of Abraham" w»s given well, and shewed off that gentleman's fine voice to advantage; Mr Steward repeated his performance of "Total Eclipse" with great expression, each note being given like a thorough artiste; a solo, " .Resignation," by Mrs Mackay, was very successful, and shewed that lady possessed a voice of great range and compass ; the solo and chorus " I was glad," by Miss Coney, was very nioely given indeed, but the length of the piece was somewhat against it for a performance of this kind; Miss a Probert and Day gave the duet "Come ever Smiling Liberty" very fairly, and the Choir in several authems acquitted themselves well. The performance? altogether was quite as successful as the previous ones, and was worthy of a larger auditory.
