The weekly report of the mine manager is ns follows:—" Tunnel level south crosscut: Nothing further has been done sjnee last report, the men being engaged in enlarging the drain to/ carry the increased water. This ; work will be completed to-day, and driring with the rook drill resumed on Monday nest so as to cut through the new reef. water be tapped. .The batlory was started on Thursday and all tho men are again at work in the drives and stopes. The crushing is showing up very well, and I expect a good payable return. There is no other change to mention.—Eoijeht Comeu." ALBURNIA. The manager banked another parcel of lOlozs gold to-day, as the result of a final cleaning up and retorting.
