TIMARU.
Last night. The three-masted schooner John Watsou, which had put to sea owing to the heavy weather in the roadstead, sank at 4 o'clock on Saturday morning, about 10 miles off the coast and 30 south of Timaru. The crew were saved. She was under the command of Capt Storm, and had between 150 and 200 tona of coal on board.
