McLean's Jurenile Troubadors were prevented from playing their "Hash," introducing Pinafore music, in consequence of l»*gal proceedings. Great excitement was caused in town last night in consequence of rumors that the ship Dunedin was wrecked in the Snares, and seven jires lost. The rumor was without the slightest foundation. The Otaj»o Agricultural Show it is anticipated' will prove a great success. A large number of entries from the principal exhibitors in the South Island have been received, and Hardwood, of Melbourne, will exhibit a number of shorthorn cattlt.
