The International Rife Match Supper.
The supper given by the vanquished teams ot the recent International fiiflo Match to Ihe victorious Scottish team took place at the Governor Bowen Hotel ia»t evening. About sixty gentlemen safe down to b recherche repast, served in Host Symington's besl style. Lieut, (ravin, captain oF the Colonial Uam, occupied the Chair, and wn« supported on the right by Major Murray and ou the left by Lieut. Johniou, Captain of the winning team. Mr G. S. Chirk, Captain of the Irish team, tilled the Vice Chair. Alter justice bad been done to the good things provided, the usual loynl and patriotic toasts proposed by the Chair and V"ice Chair were duly honored.

Mr Uordon made a few remarks ifli prnhp of l)io captain of the Irish team. Vol. Dowpie end Lieut. Brownloy favored the company with so«g«, Other toasts followed, including "The Losing Teams," responded to by the
respective captains. " Tho Scorers> proposed by Mr Dey, and responded to by Messrs Uea, Bull and Capt. Schofield. Mr Bull in responding gave credit to Mr Lawless for the excellent manner the score books had been arranged.
Mr Murray proposed the health of the energetic district murker, P.O. Potts, which was well received, and duly responded to. i These toasts were interspersed with songs by Scrgl-. Hark" (H.E). Lieut. Gavin, P.O. Wnlkcr. Lieut. Brownlowf Lieut. Burton, and Seaman Parslow. " The Press," proposed !>y Volunteer Gray, was drank with musical honors, and was responded to by Lieut. Barlow and Mr J. A.. Philp. Tho health of the " Host and Hostess," and the singing of tho National Anthem, brought a highly enjoyable evening's entertainment to a close.
