Accident at the Alburnia.

About one o'clock this afternoon an accident happened in the Alburnia mine to a man named Moses Ensor, a son of Mr S. Eosor, of the Post Office Hotel, and a young man named Floyd. It appears that Ensor was engaged in filling a hole ready for blasting when, from some unexplained cause, the charge exploded. Ensor was. severely cut and burnt about the face and neck, and Floyd was also burnt. With some little assistance they walked up the ladders, and were conveyed by their mates .to the Hospital. The full extent of EnsorV injuries had not been ascertained at the time of writing. This man was injured some time ago while in the employ of the Harbor Board in the wharf improvement.He has a wife and several children. Floyd .was not much injured, being able to walk to the Hospital.
