John Fitzgibbon, on remand, was charged with ill-using his wife, wherefore she applied for sureties of the peace. Defendant said ho could show no reason why he should not be bound over to keep the peace. The prosecutrix, a female with a blackened optic, gave evidence to the effect that her husband constantly ill-usad her.

Bound over to keep the peace for six months in his own surety of £25.

ASSAULT.

There was a case of assault on the list, but neither party appearing the case was slruck out.

Court adjourned.
