DUNEDIN.
This day. Mr Watt dismissed the libel case of Winton r Bowls, on tho ground that he had no power to produce the alleged libellous papers. Mr Stout intimated ho would lay an information for rape against Winton.
John Betman was committed for trial for stabbing John Sutherland. Large quivntitits of BUgar and teas were cleared yesterday.
