Mr Tyler, couusel for Mrs Croker during her trial, Las telegraphed the following to the Attorney- General in answer to accusations made against Judgo Gillies in the petition of Major Croker to the House of liopresentatives :—" Many of the i-Hegations nre utterly false within my knowledge. The trial waR perfectly fair. The Judge did r.ofc brow beat aie nor shew any animus ngainst Mrs Croker. Please inform Petitions Committee."
