Natives to the Rescue.
Over a hundred natives were in and around Dargavillo during the trial, some of whom is stated came armed, and made no secret of their intention to rescue him httd he been committed for trial. After the trial they paid the European who had laid the charge, the amount which he alleged he had been defrauded of, namely, £30, treating the matter as one of account.
