Wellington, Last night.

In Council to day very little business was taken after disposing of routine matters. The Council adjourned from .4 to 7.30, when it met to take an Imprest Bill which, however, hud not been received from the Lower House. The Council adjourned immediately for an hour. AGAINST GAMING HOUSES. On Tuesday the Hon. Col. Whitmore will introduce a Bill for the suppression of, gaming and betting houses, and for the more effectual abolition of lotteries.BUSINESS PitOCEEDING. Council met agans at 8 30, and passed the Imprest Bill (£300,000) through all its stages, and again adjourned, five minutes after meeting.
