AUCKLAND.
This day. The Bank of New Zealand half-yearly meeting was held to-day. Dr. Campbell was Chairman, and there wag a large assemblage of shareholders. The report shews a profit of £259,406, including £180,600 premium on new shares and £9700 balance brought forward, out of which it is proposed to pay a dividend and bonus of 15 per cent. (£8500), and £180,000 for reserve, and carry forward £5890. Mr Browning was elected Director, and the usual Totes of thanks were passed.
