It is now stated that at the Ministerial caucus on Saturday it was proposed Sir George Grey should resign the leadership and recommend the Governor to send for Mr Macandrew, but the majority were iti favor of the Ministry resigning, and allowing Mr Hall to form a Ministry, after which attack him at once with a noconfidence motion, it being alleged that if Sir G. Grey resigued tlie leadership the party would be supported by McCaughan, Masters, Driver, and Fyke. Eventually the matter was left in Sir George Grey's hands. Latest. Sir George Grey is now with the Governor, and it is understood he will tender his own resignation, but will offer no advice unless pr- ssed by the Governor, when he will reuommund Macandrew or Montgomery to be sent for.

The Ministerialists hold another caucus at two this afternoon.

The Opposition have held no meeting since the House rose.
