The mine manager's weekly report is as ' follows:—"Tunnel crosscut south.—lam pleased to say we are now through the hard bur and in clean country, letting bat a largo quantity of water. 15 feet has been driven this week. 80 feet leveL— Driving has been resumed west on No. 2 reef to prospect in this direction on sea* ward side of slide, and also to intersect JNo. 3 reef, which should here junction, with No. 2. The drives aud slopes on No. 3 reef in intermediate and tunnel levels are without change to mention. The general crushing' and quantity of picked atone to hand shows an improve* ment.—Robert Comer.
Hayes and party have finished a crushing of 19 tons at the company's mill for the satisfactory yield of 9Oozs gold.
