OAMAKU.
Last night. Two of the three men arrested at the Upper Waitaki, in connection with the aflair at Kowai station, were discharged as there was no charge against them. The other—Bealie—was brought up before the Court today and discharged, as the offence, not being a felony, required an information to be laid, and a summons to be issued against him. Two sly grog selling cases were heard at the II.M. Court today hero and d'smissed, the rebutting evidence being very strong. The informer,, a man named
Connelly, admitted that his action was the result of gpite against the accused. Iho remaining case of Mrs Stuart was adjourned till to-morrow.
