Medical girl for tho nest four weeks. This doctor eaid tho bono was diseesoii, and a piece would have to come out before the leg would get well. But durintr the four weeko treatment of Dr Bojd, the' leg was growing worse and tho child sinking. I had*heard in the meantime of tho Eucalypti Extract working Borne wonderful euros, and at the end of the period mentioned I obtained a bottle of tho extract, and first used it on Monday, tho 10th December. The doctor's visits then ceased, the child being in ft very low condition, and I gave my little girl throe dropß cadi night and morning, and also applied it to tho part affected, for two weeks, afc the end of which time I was exceedingly pleased to find eho had so much improved as to be able to run about. I regard tho cure effected by tho extract as simply marvellous, and I have be; n recommending Iho latter to aiy friends who aro suffering."
From ihe Jiendigo Evening News. Howard Place, March llthj 1878. ' Messrs Sander and Sons —I have much pleasure in testifying to the proved excellence of your Eucalypti Extract. For eeven weeks I Buffered intense* piun from a sprained ankle (which had Bwollon much), and could get no relief, although I was under medical treatment, till at laet I purchased a botllo of your ex> tract, und after using three bottles full, niy ankle was completely cured. I would now recommend all persons suffering similarly to try your Eucalyptus Extract, as I can neauro them it is a cure cure. —Edward Gibson. To the Editor of the Newcastle Morning Herald and Miners' Advocate. . . March 18lh. Sir,—Having suffered from a bad wound in the leg for a loug time, I tried several remedies, none of which had the desired effect; and, as a forlorn hope, tried a bottle of the "Eucalypti," and 1 am happy to have the opportunity of bearing record to its efficacy j although having need bub one small bottle, tbe. wound is now healed. You are at liberty to give publicity to the above, as I believe the knowledge of this fine medicine cannot bo too well known.—William Harris, Wallsend. ' From ihe Coo7down Courier. February 23rd, 1878. We bavo received the following testimony in favor of tho new curative agent from our correspondent at i Port Douglas:—" The Eucalypti-preparation is being experimented with here, and the few bottles that have been disposed of, prove all that has been written with regard to the efficacy of this discovery. A person whilst performing his daily duties in one of our stores, happened to tread on a rusty nail, which so inconvenienced him for some days, that he could neither put his foot to the ground or wear a boot —tho part being so painful. " Ho was pursuaded to try this new preparation, and upon applying tho liquid twice, immense relief was soon experienced, nnd the person referred to is new able to walk about as if nothing had happened to him. This came within my own observation, therefore I can vouch for the truth of this assertion." " ' ! Case of Swelling. In November, 1877, 'the wife of Mr Fickel Ironbark sulfored in tho bend of the knee from a swelling, which had formed a lump of considerable size, disabling her from attending to any work. She removed the swelling completely by a continued application of the extract. '- 55 " -■> ■ . ITS CLAIM AS A CURATIVE. It has now become the fashion with the inventors or discoverers of remedial agents to claim something little Bbort of infallibility and universality of cure for their respective agents. Messrs Sander and Sana do nothing of tbe sort. They have confidence that their oil possesses ninny virtues; but the full extent of these they do not know yet. They are now collecting data, and they are most careful and searching in performing this. It is quite sure then, that their eucalypti oil cm fairly assert itself to bo a grand panacea fot' many of the Ulb that flesh ia heir to. In Scarlet, Typlioid, or any cane of Fever, nothing will protect better against contagion tbau a fe]F drops of the oil poured in the palm of the hand, nnd rubbed in, in order to liberate the vapors, or sprinkled over the clothes. Tho perfume will be noticed for a great length, of time. For Children Attending Schools, tho same \ mode maybe adopted.' • " \ In Cases of Sickness, a few drops put into ! a eaucer, and put into the room will, being an etheric oil, evaporate, and fill the room with the purifying vapor. : Ate you obliged to Travel! A few drons occasionally rubbed ijnfho body, will protect againßt any contagion you may" be fixppeed tain coming in direct contact with sick persons, or in sleeping in the eamo room with, or in beds "occupied previously by eick persons. All JICiUIIfPVSVT? will do well to sprinkle from tirno to ties in drajyerpt where linen is usually kept, a few drops oT tu© payc p^aontiul oil. It produces no spots whatever, as every particle of it evaporates, and nothing remaine. In short, where a disinfectant is needed, the , pure cesguthd ecualypii oil ought to be \ the one you have recourse to, and no family ought to be without it; ' For all Wotinds, Cuts, Burns, Scoldings, Ulcers, and Cancerous Wounds, a piece of linen wrapped round tho Buffering part, &nd moistened with a few drops of the euculypfci eesengt'. yijl stop all paiu, and effect a speedy euro. In cttsuo Whorp %, pieco of linen cannot bo applied, the moistening of the euiferjpg part with the pure oil will do as well. In Case of Colds moisten the nostrils with & few drops and inhale the vapour, and you will feel the immediate relief, and entire riddance of the hu&fcr In all cases tohere ihe J&ng* may be Affected, the above-moutioned pfoceaa, jljq;i-, tjuually repeated, will be the best that can be nd7ific.il. In casts of Mhpumatisrii, a mixture of one part of tho pure' 'essential eucalypti oil with three nsrte of spirits of wine, V.ell ru.bbod in the suffering pavt ; fogs acted better than any othor remedy. In all cases of Inflammation, the eil may be applied to the part uffected. In severe cases of Toothache of rheumatic origin, tho pure essence may be applied on th.B external part of the face. In cases qf fnfiamviatian of tlus Eyes, apply tho pure oil to ihe outside of the eyelids. Headache and fflummalie Paiiis'vd the Head are positively removed «ud cured by rubbing the oil on tho uilecied parts. For many Cases of Severe Bruise* the oil has proved the best remedy.
