TESTIMONIALS. Certificate. "Sandhurst, the Ist of March, 1878. I have been investigating Messrs Sander and Sons' Eucalypti Extract since its discovery, and I havo to admit that there is besides it no medicament I know of, of euch universal effect; on the human system. I observed in tbe first instance that it ohceko completely all inflammations of whatever kind—inflammation of the chest, lungs, all throat; affections, such as bronchitis, and diptheria. It alleviates and cures all pains of rheumatic nature, neuralgia, &c, I have used it with unparalleled sucreoa in swelling?, bruises, sprains, wounds of all kinds, and of most eerioue nature, as well as in all disorders of the howels, diarrhoea, &c. lam fully convinced that the invention of that medicament will meet with the greatest estimation, and I gladly acknowledge its merits for the benefit of the public,—JoiiK Cetjickshake, M.D., L.R.0.5.E., Health Officer. 2nd March, 1878. I certify to the 1 seal of the Council of the City of Sandhurst being affixed to this document, D. Macdougali, Town Clerk. Statutory Declaration. I, Franz Eaabe, of Ironbark, Sandhurst, in tho Colony of Victoria, Australia, do solemnly and sincerely declare, that guided by the desire that all who mny become afflicted as I was may be enabled to take advantage of my publication, I make tho following declaration: On tho 25th June, 1877, my son Alfred, oix years of age, was accidentally hurt with 'ari axe on the knee. lat once took all pains to procure medical assistance, by calling at first on Dr Austin, who was subsequently assisted by Prs Penfold and Macgillivrny, However, in spite of all the combined efforts of the said gentlemen, the malady took such a bad turn tbat the patient was lying in uninterrupted woundifeveri and on the 17th. August, 1877, the opinion was given by Dr Macgillivray, that an amputation of the injured limb had become imperative, in order to save life. At this juncture I called on Meesra Sander and Sonß, procuring some of their Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, and by tho application of the same I had the satisfaction of seeing my boh within a fortnight out of all danger, and to-day be is recovered. I may just add that it Was when the crisis had been reached, that the extract referred to was first applied. I abstain from expressing my feelings towards Meears Sander and Sons in this declaration, but anyone may imagine them better than I can describe them in words. And I make_ this solemn declaration conscientiously be-" lieving the same to be true, and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the Parliament of Victoria, rendering persons making a false declaration punishable for wilful and corrupt perjury.—l"RAF/5 Baabe, Declared at Sandhurst, in the Colony of Victoria, this seventeenth day of October, oaa thousand eight j hundred and seventy-seven, before me, j Moritz Colin, J.P. j From the Donald Times. j February 2,1878. Mr H. Brown, n splitter ond laborer, who resides about Donald, informs, and has shown us, tbat he has suffered from a sprained ankle for seven months. He procured the best medical advice in the diatrict, and paid as high as 17s for one bottle of lotion. It did him no good, and at last he trjed Sander s Eucalypti Essence. Three bottles cured his leg, and he ia now as strong as ever. Government.Botanist's Opinion .Baron Yon Mueller, the Government botanißt, declares our extract to be a moat excellent .one. • ■;..•' ■■ •>■ . ■'■■-.■ 1 Cases of Earache. , In November, 1877, the eldest boy of Mr ; Gk Morgan, Donald, awoke in the night crying with earache. After some time the extract was thought of, and tried. The little fellow was cured and asleep in ten minutes, ; A day or t-tvo after this Mr Morgan met Mr French, of Corack station, who complained of having a bad earache and pain in the head. He persuaded the sufferer to try the Eucalypti Extract, and having put two drops in his ear, and rubbed booio round the ear, tho pain instantly disappeared. Cases of Severe Bndses In November, 1877, Mrs Weppner who resides in Colbinabbin (Runnymede), informed the manufacturers that the extract Applied twice restored health to her daughter, eleven years of age, who had been rushed, and trampled upon bj a cow. The child was bruked more or lees ell over the body, bleeding profusely at the head, and tho temples had become quite black. • Mr IX Obermann, residing near the gae Works, who was suffering from wounds which he could not get rid of during six months, and wbo was cured by the use of the extract Tfitiiin four weeks, introduced to Sander and .Sons, ia November, a man b/wing his nrm bruised severely at a crushing machine in Long Gully. That man applied the extract, and the accident did not even necessitate as much as an interruption iv his attendance at arork. Mr Franz Wehrle, Sailor's G-iiily, fens likewise ouyed one of his hands, which sra.9 severely bruite/i —or rnther, wo Bbould say, crushed —through .a fall of stone upon it. Mr H. Fickel, of Irojibsrb, has also bucceßßfully applied the extract fe9 & finger injured in,tho same way. , To Hie Editor of ihe Newcastle Morning Herald and Miners' Advocate. 12th February, 1878. Having received an ugly wound soiao ehorfc time ago in tho forearm from a dog bite, and which caused me great pain, the arm swelling up to the shoulder,, cad partially deterring me lrom following my daily avocation —tbat the flesh hud been poisoned I had not the slightest doubt—l tried fomentation jand other remedies, but still the limb got wores. Seeing the Eucalypti Essence advertised in the eolumnß of the ileruld nnd Advocate, I purchased a bottle in order to try its efficacy upon the wound. Upon tho first application fcbe swelling almost entirely disappeared, the pain was considerably relieved, and tho third day alter applying ilia oil, 1 felt no inccnvenienea whatever, ond I am x\qw firmly convinced that in cases of wounds, B^ljings, strains, or bruises, the Eucalypti ia a safe remedy, and would advise all who mi»ht be suffering from any of tiu ivbovo to give the "Essence" a trial.
