Alfred Durham, for obtaining money on false pretences, was committed for trial. At a meeting of the Pastoral Association, the Chairman stated only two Southern gentlemen had consented to act is judges at the forthcoming show. It was resolved to apply to Anstralia, and failing there, to appoint local judges.
Mr Sbeehan left this evening in the Glenelg for Taaranga, and will ride to Ohinemutu, and thence overland to Napier.
