The Native Outrage.
Mr Sheehan expected to. have been able to proceed to Ohinemuri yesterday afternoon, but the Fiako chiefs had not arrived till too late an hour to permit of this. When Wini Grey and the other rangaciras of Fiako arrived they assured Mr Sheehan of their loyalty and expressed a desire to assist in the.capture of the Ngotihakos. At about 10.30 o'clock this morning Mr Sheehan, Mr Thomson, Mr Fuckey and a large number of others left Grahamstown for JLopu, where a steamer, was waiting to convey them to Ohinemuri. : ■■•; .
