A SUGGESTION.
(To the Editor of the Evening Star.)
Sib, —As an old Commissariat Transport non-commissioned officer in the lato Waikato war, I wpuld suggest at this crisis, that the Mayor should offer his services to the Defence Minister to promote the raising of a Commissary and Commissariat Corps combined, with such a corps the fighting strength of the field wdiild not be weakened.—l am, &c, E!B.
