The election notices are published today. Town of New Plymouth nomination day, Wednesday, 3rd September, polling day, Saturday, 6th September; Grey and; Bell nomination day, Monday, loth September, polling day 18th; Egmont nomination day, Saturday, 30th August, polling day sth September. The principal polling places for the town, and for Grey and Bell, is the Court House, New Plymouth, and for Egmdnt, at the toll house, Qamata. ;
Col. Trimble addressed the electors of Waitara at Waitara, and a resolution was passed that this meeting had entire con* fidence in Colonel Trimble to represent the district of Grey, and Bell, and would use its utmost endeavor to secure his return,- ■.■>■ ...?\..- .. ; ■.., .■■■■•■• ,: ■!• Mr Bayly,: an ■ old settler, was buried to-day. -He arrived here in 1857.
