The "Wellington Literal Nominees.
The Liberal Beform Association Committee met last night and selected Hutchinson, the present Mayor, and Fisher, Hansard Eeporter, as candidates in the Liberal interest, promising them the support of the Association which is said to number one thousand.
The following donations have been presented to the Liberal Reform Association Fund:—Sir George Grey, £15 ; Mr Sheehan £5; and Colonel Whitmore, £5. A deputation from the Association waited upon the Premier, and asked him to address the members of the Association on Saturday night. It is semiofficially announced that the formal dissolution of the New Zealand Parliament takes place to-morrow, and that the writs for the new elections will be issued on Monday next.
It is understood Sir George Grey has altered his determination regarding making his first political address at Nelson, as he will leave here for Christchurch on the 21st by the Company's steamer and not by the Hinemoa.
