The Claud Hamilton will take from Greymouth 38780zs 4dwts gold, shipped as follows ■:—Bank of New Zealand, 25760zs 12dwts; Union Bank, 12310zs sdwts; Chinese, 70ozs.

The statement in Blair's report of the East and West Coast railways, that the shipment of coal from Greymouth is about four thousand tons annually, must be a misprint for forty thousand tons. The actual quantity shipped for the six months ending June 30th, 1879, was 18376 tons.
