; '■ ' London, August 4. The House of Lords last night without division passed a rote of thanks to the Viceroy of India, and the officers and troops engaged in the Afghan campaign. The House of Commons. agreed to a resolution without division on the Zulu grant. LoNDoir, August 3. Terrible storms hare occurred in England, causing further anxiety for the harvest. Sir Garnet Wolseley, commander of the British army in South Africa, is ditbanding the colonial forces, the necessity for them having ended by the complete, overthrow of the Zulu army.
It has been determined to divide Zulu* land into principalities uuder native rulers, to prevent it from menacing the neighbouring colonies. ~
