Fitzherbert is to inform his constituents at the Hutt immediately on his decision to accept the Speakorship of the Legislative Council, and Henry Jackson, late of the Survey Office, is to be brought forward' as a candidate immediately after. It is stated no opposition will be offered to lO'Eorke for the JSpeakership of the Lower |House, but there will bo strong opposition to Hamlin as Chairman of Committees.
