Thursday. Upton Fells and Upton Downs sheep runs, 22,820 acres freehold, 26,030 leasehold, and 22.000 sheep, were auctioned today. They were started at £25,000 and ran up by £1000 bids to £34,000 w hen they fell to the Bank of New Zealand. Mr Saunders, of Otago, bid £33,000. '
Benopai, two cattle runs 32,138 acres, of which 2.552 were freehold, were withdrawn at £24,000.
