DUNEDIN.
Friday. There was only one declaration of insolvency at Dunedin last week.
The Governor and suite left Dunedin by special train this morning, accompanied by ; the Postmaster-General and Mr Geo., McLean, M.H;B. The Artillery formed a guard of honor ontthe platform. The Mayor and several.of the City Councillors were present, together with the AttorneyGeneral, Superintendent Weldon, Lieut.Colonel Stayely, and Major Wales. There was much hearty cheering as the train, moved off at Oamaru,' and at the intervening stations between there and Dunedin the Governor met with a most-cordial reception, and was presented with the usual addresses. .' '
