Wednesday. John Peacock jumped off the train to the port after his hat, while going at full speed. He picked it up, but was stunned, aad had his head severely cut. A monster demonstration of firo brigades will be held in November next, to which the whole of the fire brigades are to be invited. It is anticipated it will be the largest gathering of the kind erer held in New Zealand. ,
