Sydney, March 26. Fifty thousand bushels of wheat have been sold at .Adelaide, at 4s lOd per bushel. Melbouenk, Thursday. The Suez mail advices inform us of the following English departures for New Zealand ports between the Ist and 14th of Febiuary:—Celyano, for Napier; Columbus, Dunbar, s.s. Stad Haarlem and Westland, for Otago; Glendorey, for Wellington ; Red Gauntlet, for Canterbury ; Weymouth, for Auckland. Adelaide, March 26. Breadstuff's have a downward tendency. . Brisbane, March 26. Mr Griffiths has been chosen leader of the Opposition, in place of Mr Douglas, the late Premier. Mr King.has been appointed Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, and Mr Walsh, the former Speaker, is mentioned as the probable successor of Sir Maurice O'Connell as President of the Legislative Council.
