Theatra Royal.

Mr J. P. Hyde's' Gem Burlesque and Comedy Company has arrived from Auckland and will perform at the Theatre Royal this evening. The troupe, which comprises 14 members, has played through the colony, and every where has been successful. In Auckland they were exceedingly well received. Looking at the names of members of the company, we notice many old Thames favorites. Many of us have listened with pleasure to the versatility and genuine humor of Mr Hydes, so that his abilities require but little lauding. There is Miss Lizzie Morgan, a host in herself; Miss Jenny Nye; the Misses Johns, two celebrated danseuses ; the bass singer Mr Alexander, and others whose merit we will to-night have an opportunity of forming an opinion of.
