NELSON.
This day. Mr Acton Adams, one of the candidates for the City, addressed the electors last night. He spoke strongly in favor of secular education. This question will be the crucial test, at the hustings, and the contest will be very severe if not bitter. Mr Adams further expressed his determination of not ceasing to advocate that Nelson should be included in the Bail ways system. The other candidate will address the electors on Tuesday.
