OAMARU.
This day, A dray accident occurred near Ngaparp, yesterday, by which an old Hampden settler named T. Howie lost his life. Deceased was proceeding to the tables with a load of coal, and when a mile beyond Ngapara the horses shied and capsized the dray, which fell on deceased and killed him instantaneously. An inquest will be held to-day.
