This day.
Mr Hetley, accompanied by a native guide, proceeded to make a flying survey of the route explored by Mr Moss between Ohinemutu and Cambridge, with a view of discovering a practicable route for road and railway. Charles Bush, landlord of the Old House at Home, was charged with Sunday trading and permitting gambling in his house. The "first charge was withdrawn, and for the second a fine of £10 was inflicted.
