Epitome of declaration made before M. Cohen Esq., J.P., at Penohurst, October, 1877 —The son of Mr Kaabe was hurt with an uxe on the knee. After nine weeks' medical trtatment it was declared neeeswry by Dr. Macgillivray to amputate the injured limb. At ibat juncture the extract was applied, and the weund speedily cured wthout amputation.

The daughter of Mr JunghenH, suffering from disease of the bone, as pronounced by Drs Atkinson and Bojd, was cured just as speedily. Cures of whooping cough, very Eevere colds, croup, bronchitis, diphtheria, earache, pains in the head (neuralgia,) inflammation of the i-yes, and that of a severely injured loot; others of bad legs, wound on the arm with enormous swelling, of severe burises and spran ed ankle, (H. The extract is proved to be curative in disorders of the urinary organs. It is the surest curbtive agent and preventative of contagion in scarlet, typhoid and intermittent fever.
