Telegraphists' Rifle Match.

THAMES F. NAPIER.

There being several fair shots amongst the gentlemen composing the telegraph staffs of Thames and Napier, for some time past there lias been a movement to get up a match between them. It appears that some Napier gentlemen happening to know the shooting qualities of Messrs Bull and Lumsden in the office here, backed them against their local men, and the consequence was the match was arranged to be fired this moiling simrltaneously at both places, each office to be. represented by three men aside; ranges —200. 400, SCO yards Our representatives fired at the Government range this morning with the following result: —. ?00 4,0 500 ya\ds yatds yarvs Ti.
