IRREGULARITY OF OHINEMURI STEAMERS.
(To the Editor of the Evening Stab.) Sic,—l wish to draw attention through your columns to the unsatisfactory manner in which the Grahamstown people are treated by the proprietors of the Ohinemuri steamers. Twice during the present week steamers advertised to leave Graiiamstown Wharf at 7.30 and 8.30 o'clock respectively have not done so, but about two hours after that time they could be discerned quietly steaming away from Shortland Wharf, not caring one jot for the passengers and cargo waiting for them at Grahamstown. Surely if circumstances prevented them calling at Grahamstown they might send: word to the passengers to that effect. Hoping that this hint will have the desired effect, I am, &c, : A Grahamstown Tbadbsman. Grahamstown, Nov. 16th, 78.
