Sydney, November 8
The City of Sydney cleared Sydney Heads at nine o'clock this morning. The floods on the overland route having detained the Victorian mails, it became necessary to postpone the sailing of the San Francisco mail steamer. The detention, however, will not interfere with the steamer's departure from New Zealand, as she will be pressed on the passage to Auckland.
Bice is £24; Adelaide flour, £17 to £12; wheat, finest, £5 5s 2d. Sailed; City of Sydney.
