WELLINGTON.

This day.

In the Supreme Court to-day in the action by the Press Agency against the Poverty Bay Standard for an injunction to restrain the defendant from publishing telegraphic news obtained by the plaintiffs without their consent, Mr Samuel, as counsel for the plaintiffs, applied in banco for an order to remove the demurrer, raising the question of the copyright relied on by the plaintiffs, to the Court of Appeal. Mr Samuel relied on the difficulty or importance of the questions. Judge Gillies granted an order, obse.-ying that the question was no doubt important, but that he did not think there would be much difficulty in determining it.
