Kempthorne, Prosser and Co.'s drug business has been turned into a joint stock company with a capital of £200,009 in one hundred thousand shares of £2 each. The firm take up 25,000 shares.
The subscription, lists in aid of the sufferers by the recent floods are closed. The total amount collected ia £2,168.'
A company is about to be formed to establish tramway communication along the Peninsula side of the Harbor.
