This day.
A monster claimant has arrived here from California. He says he was her.c thirty-fiye years ago, and claims a large amount of suburban property, including the City Waterworks and a part of the Surrey Hills estate. It is supposed to be under an old native claim.
The secretary of the Acclimatisation Society reports that three thousand brown trout have been received from Otago in very bad condition, eighty per cent, of it being of no use. Two white swans applied for by Taranaki were granted, also two rooks for Waterhouse, Wellington.
