DUNEDIN.
This day. Mr Deans forwarded by the Hawea for the North yesterday between 7000 and 8000 perch ova, obtained from the Dunedin reservoir. They are intended for the Napier society.
The collection in aid of the building fund of Knox church yesterday amounted to £100. Since the beginning of the year about £2500 hare been subscribed for the same purpose. -
A cottage owned by Wm. Cox, Caversham, was destroyed by fire. Insured in the New Zealand office for £120.
